About Oregon Kids Pediatric Dentistry

Oregon Kids Pediatric Dentistry originated because Dr. Lentfer felt it was time to open her own practice so she had the control to treat patients in a manor she was treated by dentists and doctors when she grew up, a way that is fading in our current day….taking time with her patients! Dr. Lentfer enjoys getting to know her patients and developing treatment plans for each individual child. She truly believes there is no one way to treat a child and encourages open communication with patients and parents to create a treatment plan that fits your child’s needs.

Dr. Lentfer grew up in Ashland, Oregon and attended University of Oregon for undergraduate studies. In 2007, Dr. Lentfer graduated Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After completing dental school, she returned to Oregon where she practiced as a general dentist for four years before returning to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After Dr. Lentfer completed her pediatric dental residency, she returned to Oregon and practiced as an associate until she decided it was time to open her own practice here in Eugene.

Dr. Lentfer is a board certified diplomate of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, sits on the Lane County Dental Society board, and is a member of The American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Holistic Dental Association, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. Dr. Lentfer takes pride in her expanding knowledge to reduce toxicity and increase bio-compatibility of the materials used in her office for her patients.

When Dr. Lentfer is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Max, their son Cooper, and their two dogs, Piper and Rey. Having grown up in Oregon, Dr. Lentfer loves taking advantage of the coast, mountains, lakes and rivers that are here in our backyard. Skiing, biking, running and swimming when she gets the time are some of her favorite activities.
